Drink your Superfoods!

The word superfoods has become a very popular term used in health blogs, highly touted at health expos and even talked about on the nightly news.  We are told that superfoods will increase our lifespan, give us more energy and make us healthier than ever. But, how do we incorporate these powerful foods into our daily lives?

Many people drink water or lemon water upon rising to rehydrate and alkalize their bodies. Here are some refreshing drink recipes made with superfoods like goji berries, spirulina and raw cacao you can drink in the morning or as a treat any other time of the day.

Lemonade with Goji Berries

Stevita is a clean liquid Stevia

Lemonade with Gogi Berries:

You will need:

1 Lemon

3 Cups Filtered Water

1   Tbsn Goji Berries

Few drops of Stevita

Directions:

Squeeze fresh lemon juice. Add water,  goji berries, a few drops of stevita and mix. Pour into a martini glass and enjoy!

Orangeade with Spirulina

Orangeade with Spirulina:

You will need:

1 Orange

3 Cups Filtered Water

1 Tbsn of Spirulina powder

Stevita as preferred

Directions:

Squeeze fresh orange juice. Add water, spirulina powder, a few drops of stevita and mix. Pour into a martini glass and enjoy!

My favorite Hot Cocoa:

You will need:

2 Tbsn Raw Cacao Powder

1-2 Tspn of Raw Honey

Freshly grated ginger (if you like ginger)

Hot Water

Directions:

Add all ingredients and enjoy!

For a Mocha flavor add:

1/8 tspn of Jnantik Mayan Bean Powder
