Fresh almond milk is a highly nutritious drink you can make quickly and easily.
Recipe:
1 cup raw almonds
4 cups filtered water
3 medjool dates or sweetener of choice
1/4 tspn vanilla bean powder
Pour almonds into Vitamix or another blender.
Add water, dates and vanilla bean powder.
Blend until mixture turns white approximately 30 seconds.
Secure cheesecloth or nut milk bag around mason jar and slowly pour almond mixture through.
Continue until all milk has passed through cheesecloth and only almond pulp remains in cheesecloth.
Enjoy your almond milk immediately in cereal, warm beverages, smoothies or tighten mason jar lid and refrigerate. Will last two-three days.
